Ok, heres the deal. Had two 12" Infinity subs running off a 1000 watt sony xplod amp which was connected to a capacitor. Wiring was done professionally by a car audio shop. I had no problems whatsoever with this setup. Recently I got rid of that amp and sub and put a Rockford Fosgate t1000bd 1k watt amp and a 12" jl W6. I didnt change the wiring or anything. Just switched the sub and amp.

Now I notice that even with my radio off my capacitor is still lit up even hours later and the number on it keeps changing then it started going below 10 and blinking at me. (Car is off and stereo is off). When i turn the stereo on, no matter if im on CD, Tuner, USB, etc it makes a loud rumbling noise that isnt affected by chaning the volume or anything. Its constant and doesnt stop untill i turn the radio off. I dont understand whats wrong because when i first hooked it up, it worked fine. But now all of a sudden it does this.

    Any ideas?????? Thanks

Your rca on the sub amp have a problem so take off one at the time and when your noise gonna stop take off le left if the noise still on.. you put it back and take off the right if your noise stop you have a problem with the input of the amp are it your wire is broken so try another wire ...sorry for my english im a french frog.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
