My radio cuts out at random times sometimes will work fine for a few minutes, then quit for the rest of the trip, sometimes it doesnt work at all occasionally it will come on when i turn off the key I think it still has power, because some of the lights(like the numbers still glow when the headlights are on) on the deck stay on when the rest of it quits I replaced the deck but I am still having the same problem (and like any good electrical problem it worked fine while in the shop) there doesn't seem to be any way to trigger the problem I suspect there is and issue with the remote power wire from the ignition? Has this happened to anyone else? should i take it to a car audio shop or and auto-electric shop?
COuld be several things, a fuse holder in the harness that is stressed causing the fuse ot lose connection, could be a problem with the vehicles electrical, unless you are personally capable of using a VOM and have a small bit of electrical knowledge, it would be very hard to diagnose the problem online. I would recomend taking it to a reputable car audio shop...generall will cost less than a car dealers shop
