I must agree. this is really the only advice we can give ya friend. if you wanna get more in depth with your questions, perhaps noises your hearing by description we might be able to help you with what frequency to pull. start by rough tuning with tonal controls, if your bass is to much, pull it back, so on so forth, play with the tones to see what they do for ya. than fine tune things with the EQ, also pioneer has all kind of other settings, they have a sound booster, that is nice if your sub is to loud you can push your highs brighter, but be more carefull with that setting as it can blow or damage your speakers
