I was just wondering what kind of crossover I need. I don't know anything about these really so any help would be appreciated. This is what I got, Front, 5 1/4" and rear just 4" and dual 12"s.

Everything is pretty much basic. Unpowered mids and highs, 2 12's each powered separately by 1 asa 1500.1 Dx powerbass amp. Deck is a KDC-BT945U. What else do you need to know.

So i assume the head unit is running the highs? And do the amps have built in active x-overs?

OK then....you will need to get an active outboard x-over for the sub amps.... from the radios rca outputs you will feed into the x-over, from there to the amps....set it about 80 Hz or so....now for the radio, you will want to install 100uF caps on each speaker, this will prevent them from playing any bass....

This will get you in the ball park for good sound...

Cool thanks! 1 more question, do i need an outboard x-over if my deck has x-over features? Like i can set frequencies in the front, rear and subs.

well, if your deck has built in x-overs for the highs and lows, no, you wont need an outboard x-over.... what radio do you have?
