we picked out 2 subs that fit my kids budget.
    Alpine SWS-1023D.
They will go in a wedge shaped box, 1.45 internal volumn.
The Alpine manual says to have a slot 10" x 1" in 14" per sub.
My question is since 2 of these are going in 1 box how do i determine the new port?
Thanks for any info in advance.

That port is tooo small for 1 12-inch woofer. There is no way it will support two woofers.

Something else, two 12-inch woofers in a 1.45 cu.ft box is just way too small. Performance will definately suffer.

these are 10's and alpine says .7 for each. So i figured 1.4 for 2.

I just looked up the specs for your woofer, minimum for a sealed box is .65. The minimum for a ported box for 1 woofer is 1 cu ft. And the vent size you have is for a 1.2 cu ft box according to Alpines directions

The port size is OK for a single 10, but way too small for two 10s

For those two 10s you should have a box with an internal volume of around 2 to 2.5 cu ft. The port should have a cross sectional area of around 14 sq inches (minimum)
