yes... u can run 2 12's off 1 channel.. see typically amps that are 1 channel or mono blocks are made specifically to run subs... do u know what ohms the subs are by chance?
nevermind i found it.. they are single 4 ohm coils... and may i ask where u are located? cuz shipping will be more expensive if u are out of the states..
ya im not sure how much shipping would be to the u.k if u were to buy an amp from me.. i mean i could check. but u might be better off just buying something closer to u. so try to find a monoblock amp that puts out around 1000 watts prolly.. u can turn the gains down on it.. its always good to go with a bigger amp then u need cuz it will provide cleaner power for your subs and in return ur subs should last longer..
thanks mate, i have a look and if i can get bigger than a 1000 watt is it better and do i need to look at the rms and stuff ?
yes i would always go by rms.. not by peak... u dont need bigger then 1000 but if the price is right u can always turn the settings down...
dont know the conversion from pounds to us dollars...but in my opinion....i would steer clear of that amp. An honest 500 watt amp will outperform a "cheesy" 3000 watt amp everysay....
yes dont buy that amp.. a good amp is gonna cost a little more.. diesel he is in the uk.. i imagine shipping would be insane...
u dont need to wire it like that.. u can wire all the voicecoils directly to the amp.. it is 1 ohm stable
the only thing with boss, watch the fuses. If thats a 1200 and only has two 60A and is not a digital amp. Well 60Ax12V=720W
