need help dont think my amps got the power :(

    hi i need some help i had a little sound system in my car then decided to go big so got myself 2x hertz 12" es300 subs, vibe 12v 1.0 digital power cap, 0 gauge wiring kit, cougar 3000 watt amp, made my own box that was sold sealed looks the part :). I then wired it all in and it worked but sounded poo! :mad: so i run the amp on just one sub and it sounded ok but think it could go better any idea's please more than welcome ????

    Be sure the subs are wired in phase...if out of phase you will have NO bass

    well if im not mistaken that is a 6 channel amp and is 3000 watts max. its 4 x 500peak watts and 1 by 1000 peak watts... and thats at 4 ohm... the amp has only 2 x 20 amp fuses.. so the chances of it putting out even 1000 watts total are very slim... my 1000watt rms amp has 3 x 40 amp fuses... if this helps with the comparison.. so yes u are prolly under power the subs a great deal.. not quite sure how u have that amp wired to the subs though... and not sure why u would buy a multi channel amp to power 2 subs...

    yeah your right I wish I dint buy this amp now waste of money I'm not the best person when it comes to amps has any one got any good ideas what amp i should get ?

    also maybe u can sell that amp to someone who is looking to run coaxals and a small sub.. never know..

    hi again I've finally got my self two

    Hertz EP1D Monoblock
    AMPs one for each sub this should be more than another power can any
    one show me the best way to wire these up on a diagram or something
    please and how can I wire my front and back door speakers and my dash
    speakers up to an amp which I have a little jbl 600 watt amp for i just want clean clear sound coming from them :) thanks
