sorry , door panel not kick panel.
no i lost all my pics when mtx rides changed their site
just standard install with mdf between speakers & mounting area on door, free air behind which was the same as factory except they had a sort of baffle with no back on it & still produced some punch.i have viitually none now, however my amp is set to high pass.Should i change it?

I had a very similar problem bud. Ill make a long story short from what i did to get alot of bass from literally no bass at all in my doors... I deadened my entire door panel, very few holes and they are very small.. zero air leak between the speaker and mdf ring and where its mounted. Turned off the HPF on my amp but left it at 125 on 12db on my deck. Now i have lots of punch and deep bass from my doors =D

    hey awesome!
when you say they are very small, do you mean your door space, or the speakers?
& where did you deaden the door & with what?

    thanks so much Dude!!!

I mean the only factory holes in the door that i didnt cover are very small. I deadened the entire door my friend(the actual metal of the door behind your plastic door panel where the speaker is mounted) I used this stuff from home depot, its meant to seal leaks on roofs and such, its about 16 bucks a roll and 1 roll was enough to do 2 1\2 layers on both my front doors and 1 layer on the trunk hatch. There was this stuff called peel and seal but i cant find it, this stuff is practically the exact same and it worked great and its not falling off at all. Just make sure it has aluminum backing and your good to go.

yeah i`ve heard of that stuff, but heard it`s a little heavier. i`m not a racer anyway, so my only concern would be the doors sagging. i`m gonna check @ Home Depot though, sounds great!!
    you rock man!!

Np bud, i wouldn't worry about weight lol. When you pick up 1 roll of this stuff you'll laugh at whoever said its really heavy.

do you remember what it`s called? & does it mean the speaker is blown when i get buzzing @ midtones?

just at Home depot & they only have the rubber/aspalt like material there, unless it is available somewhere else with the aluminum backing? There was another type there, but it`s $74 a roll!!

    thanks man,
but when i asked they said they only had the one type. i`m thinking it`s not available in Canada, but i`m gonna try a couple other hardware stores first.
    much appreciated!!!
