I have an Infinity Reference 1600A amp that I'm looking to match up with 2 10" subs. Here are some specs. Infinity Reference 1600A mono amp 4 ohms: 400 watts x 1 chan. 2 ohms: 600 watts x 1 chan. Max Power Output: 894 watts x 1 chan. My 2 choices of 10" subs are: Infinity Kappa 100.9w RMS Power Handling 350*watts Or JL Audio 10w1v2-4 Peak: 600 watts RMS: 300 watts Recommended Power Range: 50-300 watts Both seem to match the amp, but I'm looking for some opinions. I'm looking for sound quality over loudness. Thanks
It's a 93 300zx 2+0 Pioneer MVH-8200BT Eclipse 3640 4channel w/ Clarion SRR 1325 in the doors (haven't checked the rear 2 yet, but assuming a match) So I'm looking for some respectable lows but and overall system that is crystal clear. I already have the Infinity Reference 1600A mono block and there are sealed boxes which fit nicely in the hatch which hold 10" subs Here's a link. http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=classified&msg_id=149163&forum=classified&dtSearch=1 Thanks
