What i'd like is a nice punchy, clear low to mid volume, but if someone turns into a ***hole and tries to say his system is better than mine, just turn it up just a bit more . I make my own music, and my "bass" songs are long continuous notes, and hz slides up and down...here's an example. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/405627 AND http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/399866 (the better of the two) very slow hz sweep from like 1-100 i think in the middle. if you look at your speakers, the logo won't be blurry its moving back and forth so slow. ANYWAYS. what kind of system is good for that? this is what i have lined up. im not sure what your asking for.. you seem to have your equipment picked out and an enclosure style picked out as well... just seems you just wanted to post up your beats is all. your equipment will give you what you want. so yes, its good stuff.
I'm just checking, i haven't bought anything, so I'm still free in what i can pick out or get. I'm just getting different opinions from different angles. thanks for the help man!
ok, so what is your budget? and do you really need slim subs or just chose them because they match the amps output?
I actually need slim subs, i have a truck with a total of 2.5 cubic feet behing the seat. I wanted two subs, i wanted them to be 12's, and i wanted them to be versatile. I don't need the greatest spl, or the amazingist sq, i wanted a happy medium in between, sorry for the long period of me not being on, i forgot my username HA! as you know they are going in a Sealed box. my budget is 600 bucks. but i had to get everything. amp, door speaks, wires, everything. My truck was bought off craigslist, and all of the sound stuff was gutted along with the floor and the instrument panel wiring...but that's a different forum
a neat trick for subs in a smaller than wanted box, is to stuff the box with poly fill. your 2.5 cf box can increase to 3.0 with the right amount of stuffing. if your looking for decent sounding mids and highs you don't need to buy those $200 kickers. as a matter of fact i just saw some at best buy for 99 or 129. they sounded ok on the board. polks make a very nice sounding set too.. ebay has them for 60 to 70 bucks.
