this is going to be a pain to get accrost to everyone, so take it easy on me. My crappy sony h/u has pre amp outs, a set for the front and a set for the rear...those are going to run my components in the front doors and in the rear sail pannle of my car. Im also planning on putting in a set of 6x9 kappas and i need to split the signal somewhere. so should i split the signal at the h/u (and have to run another cable to the very back of the car) or can i split the signal off the cable at the rear of the car (the cable I have already run to the back of the car) Basically, im trying to get out of having to run another cable to the rear of the car. Iv made it as clear as i can, Thanks guys!
JL 300/4 but thats not what i plan to use with the kappas, im still searching for an amp. And yes, split 4 to 6 or even 8 if I get another 4ch amp.
so if you split 4 preouts into 6, how do you plan on hooking that to your amp if it only has 4 inputs? If your going to slpit it that much your going to degrade your output voltage so much it going to sound like ****. You should look at audiocontrol, they have several processors that will do what you want and give you 8 volt output to your amps.
I plan to run two amps...I didnt know that I could run all four ch. of my JL 300/4 off one set of rca's, which opens a set of rca's for my 6x9's I want to put in and run off a infinity amp. All is good!
