I have a JL audio J2 320.4 amp currently powering 4 kicker ks680 speakers in my truck. I recently got a pair of Polk audio MM571 speakers to replace the fronts. I will be going from 4 ohms of the kicker speakers with 60w being sent to each one, to 2.7 ohms of the Polks. How much power will be sent to the Polk speakers if my amp does 60w x 4 @ 4 ohms and 80w x 4 @ 2 ohms?

roughly 70ish.. it really depends on the voltage the amp is getting at the time..

my amps do more with the engine running @ 14.1v as opposed to 12.4 engine off...either way you will NEVER hear a 10 watt difference in output.

Thats good to know. After i get the new speaks in the front, they will be playing louder than the rear, right?
They are 90w RMS, 200 max so how should i tune my amp to get the most out of these?

Since they are lower impedence they will ask for more power, so in theory they should be louder but not by much. you can always adjust the fader on your stereo if needed.
