kvt-512 resetting itself

    i recently rewired my two front and two rear speakers directly to my head unit, and now every time i raise the volume beyond about 19 or 20 (out of 35) it resets itself, shuts down and powers back up in a second. any thuoghts? is it just too much power for it or is it some sort of safety feature?

    check your wiring on the speakers
