   Are 6x9 speakers any better or louder than 5x7 or 6x8 speakers?

   no not better! they are for different applications however a 6x9 has more cone area which concludes to being able to get louder not nessecarily better by any means! each speaker has its true application. but the bigger the speaker the louder it will get in terms of more cone area! in which it will need more power!
