i would like to add some speakers for the doors of the truck and not sure what to get, would like to have them powered by something else then the deck.
like to spend $300 to $400 i have a 600 watt amp 4 channel, the speakers that fit in there are 5 1/4 and the truck is a 84 ford pickup
what kind of amp? if you have a good amp and your budget is 400, you can get som good component spearks, some darn good ones.

i personalie cant stand dual. there junk, but if it floats your boat i guess thats ok. but i would spend ~$200 on a new amp and ~$200 on some comps

i know what you mean i just had it kicking around so i thought maybe i should use it. That amp is nice and i like them first speakers there too, i also have a 800 watt Clarion amp that im going to use to power my 12 inch alpine. oh i know the doors should be 5 1/4 but someone has 6x9s in it lol
