So if my atlernator is a 45 amp, and my Amp has two 35 amp fuses does that only leave 10amps For the rest of the car to work on?????????????

2 35 amp fuses = 70...Thats above your alternators capability right there
10 amps left? no more like you need 25 more amps for that amplifier, and another 15-20 or so for the car itself

45 amps?? what do you drive?

the only thing that comes to mind would be a 60's to 70's bug.

Yeah 45amp alternator seems small, usually the smallest i see is like a 60amp, somewhere around there. But if you really do have only a 45amp alternator then you have to figure two 35amps fuses=70 total amps plus to run the car alone probably uses around half of that 45. so 70+ say about 20=90 amps so you are doubling what that alternator can handle, you would need to upgrade that alternator before you plan on putting a amp that big.

An amplifier does NOT "continuously" draw what the fuses are rated for....If this were the case the fuses would blow on a failrly consistant basis. Music is dynamic. Its not a test tone, well, except for some of that bass music i suppose! LOL!

A 45 amp alternator can sustain a big system......for very SHORT periods at a time. The battery will be doing most of the the work in this situation. So in my opinion, a higher ouput alternator would be a very good thing. Heck, that 45 amp alt puts out even less when its hot......

You do not need a alt upgrade, you should have no problems with the 90 amp alt you have. from what i get is your amplifier has 2 - 35amp fuses and that is not near enough to warrant that type of upgrade. you may need a more powerful battery, or add one but thats it. if you want fairly accurate way to know what your amps pulling use this...
Here is a simple way to determine average current draw on the electrical system
(total rms continous watts * .50 / amplifier effeciency / cars voltage = average current
    draw on cars electrical system)....
    hope this helps
