I must admit that taking the Pony back to her heritage has worked out fairly well. I like the look of the 2005 Mustangs :)

Does anyone know any numbers for the models?

Thankfully, the car will never look like that. It WILL have a back seat. It won't have the 20" wheels (horrible from an aesthetic and performance standpoint). The interior won't look like that either. I hope they simply tone down the interior a bit. I also seriously doubt it will have the 400hp motor standard. Maybe as an upgrade, but not likely. More likely 300-320 hp range with an available 350ish. The rearend will change also. Ford will not want to listen to legions of complaints about the tailpipes rattling on the bumper pass-throughs. Remember when the '94 Mustangs based on the Mach III concept came out. Styling cues were similar, but the car looked really totally different. The chassis IS the same as the new T-Bird, and I for one am happy. It allows full use of IRS (I've taken to road course racing over drag racing- I weigh up to 270 lbs in the winter, puts me at a disadvantage). I hope to see a solid-axle option for the 1/4 mile folks, though.
