I have an Alpine CDA-105 deck, and just realized that it has what look like red and white rca connections on the back. Can you plug an rca-to-headphone jack audio cable into the back of it and play music from a phone on it?

No. The RCA connections are line-out connections intended to connect to an amplifier's RCA input.

Eric is right on. They r for connecting amps. They also have voltage, 2-4 volts. I would think that u would damage ur phone if you try to connect it.
