Im trying to get a 10" or even an 8" sub for no more then 75$ for my suv. Yea I know its not a lot of money at all but its a gift with the max of 75$. I have 1 10" type r in a sealed box in my acura and it hits plenty hard and the sq sounds great to me. Im not trying to break any records here and I hardly listen to music loud at all. I just prefer tight bass when listening to techno/trance. I need something that is going to sound decent for that price if possible Ill be using a rockford p300-1 300 watts x1 @ 2ohms Please check this link and pick a a sub for under 75 bucks that would you use if you had to. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/view...rt_order=price_asc&items_per_page=100&f_31=98
I personally like the two PowerBass Woofers. The S104D if you need 2-ohm load or the S104 if you need a 4-ohm load. Those woofers are tough and they work well in both sealed and ported boxes
Car Auio and Electronics did a recent article on bargain subs. Most are above $75, but there are a few for $100 that might work for you. The planet audio is listed as being between $50-$100. http://caraudiomag.com/articles/top-11-bargain-subwoofers
I think Ive narrowed my choices down to 2. What do you guys think? Like I said before, I prefer sq over spl and my amp is 300w x 1 @ 2 ohms http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_21391_JBL-GT5-10D.html http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8572_Kenwood-KFC-W3011.html
I like tha MTX 4500.. I think I'll buy me a couple of those myself.. lol.. I had a friend who had 2 with a Rockford 500 watt RMS amp in a jeep and they sounded VERY nice.. You'll be blown away by these lil subs...
I take that back.. Tha 5500.. Alot deeper bass than tha 4500.. I had a pair of 5500s and was very pleased..
