Alright, i just got my Power Acoustik head unit put in today. When i turn the key (1 turn) everything is good, sound of music would come on. But when I turn the key all the way to turn the ignition on ready to drive the sound would become mute, no sound would come out anymore. Does anyone know wat is the problem and how to fix this?
Theres usually a mute wire in the aftermarket harness, i think its orange/black but check the guide to double check, maybe you have that hooked up to something by mistake?
If your not able to pull the unit out to check the wires behind it your most likely going to have to take it somewhere to get checked.
I dont know what might cause it to do that. I mean..no sound when i would come otu when i turn on the ignition..
You said you had it put in. Who did the work? Have him check the wiring if you don't know what to do. I think it was wired wrong by the sounds of it.
