Pioneer DEH-5200HD will cut out after 15 minutes

    I have a Pioneer DEH-5200HD that was just installed and after playing for about 15 minutes at a midrange volume all sound will cut out. It does this with the tuner, iPod and CD. If I turn the volume down to where I can barely hear it the sound will work for about 25 minutes. The functions on the unit all still work but there is just no sound. Any ideas? Bad unit? Faulty installation?

    Amps gain is likely too high. If you have them.
