Hi, As I have misplaced my hu passport, I have mistyped security code for my hu 3 or 4 times. In the manual it says that after 4 or more times, hu cannot be used for 24 hours. Now I've found the hu passport and the hu has been off for more than 24 hours, but when I switch hu on, it stil shows disabled code keypad page and message "Waiting" Not sure if there could be some problem with the +12V ignition/memory wire, but when even though I switch the hu off on the hu itself, it's automatically switched back on, once I turn the ignition key. So now, I am not sure if there is power to the hu at all once the ignition key is removed. If not then the hu cannot keep the track of the "24" hours. Am I missing something or...? Thanks...
When we had a problem similar to yours, we hooked the radio to a power supply and left it powered up for 24hours. After that time we could enter the correct code.
