My door pods

    Well last year about this time i decided to do some door pods. I never got around to doing it so now i am. :) 1 selenium 8 and 1 selenium st200 tweeter in each door. Keeping it simple since this is my first set of door pods. Here some pics. I know there are a lot of imperfections but i got to learn somewhere.

    Taping off the door

    First layer of resin and mat.

    After 3 layers, i pulled the mold off the door.

    Heres 1 8 and 1 tweeter.

    Started drawing out the speaker and tweeter mounting rings.

    More progress for you guys. :) the grinder got away from me at the bottom of the pod. Oops. LOL o well i can patch it up.

    Well its time to get back to working on them again. LOL Heres some pics. I cut the end off and made them shorter bc they looked like crap.

    it takes time and imagination to make them look good......

    looks like you have a good general understanding of what it takes...


    build a few dozen and you get it down REAL QUICK! LOL!

    good job on them. some more elbow grease, a bit of bondo and a few beers...youll get em done and lookin good!


    you dying them/painting them or covering them in vinyle or leather?
