Hello everyone, I only started looking acouple days ago(checked most online stores), I just cant seem to find a 15" sub for under $300 with anywhere from 1000-1700Watts rms at 2ohm's other then the cheap ones(the bigger the number the better right) haha. So if anyone has a suggestion for brands. Checked sonic, woofersetc, onlinecarstereo, crutch even ebay and some others maybe theres a hidden gem of an online store out there? thanks for any and all help. :detective:

lets get real here...you want to pump 1700 watts into a cheap woofer?

    C'mon.....that aint realistic....

A pro audio driver rated to take that kind of power on even a peak to peak basis is well beyond your budget then...

Be real...dont ask for something that does not exist...

Now....if you can treat a sub with respect, and build the right box......ya...you can do it....but most folks cant... I have learned that time and time and time again.

U r askng for champange on a beer budget. Here r a few options that will probably survive the lower end of ur power (and all have 2 or 4 ohm choices):
    MB Quartz PWE 352-800 w RMS $169 ( normal $449)
    Alpine Type R- 750 w RMS $249
    Kicker Comp VX 15- 1000 w RMS $269
    Kicker Solobaric L7 1000 w RMS $329

All on woofersetc at these prices today.

Another option. Take ur $300 cash and go to a car stereo shop and see what deals they will make for cash. I recently went to a shop were the guy had a 10 in Diamond Hex that retails for $499 but wanted to get rid of it since it was two yrs old. But was new in the box for $180. 75% off for being old is ok by me. I didnt get it but it was a steal. If you want big boy toys ur gonna pay big boy prices.
