I just bought a new truck and it has everything in it except for the sub. I have this amp and I'm planning on getting this box as long as no one thinks that would be a terrible idea. Is the small size going to affect it a lot? What sub should I get to go in it with this amp?
I would get a box for a 10 or a 12 and type r's will handle that power.Do you have a budget?What kind of truck do you have?What h/u do you have?What type of music do you listen to?These things will help us all decide which direction to give you.
Look into an 8'' kicker L7,get a dual 2 ohm and run it at 1 ohm to get the max out of the amp you have. Square subs are not a clean as round subs but i think this would kit pretty well. your amp is 500 watts at 1 ohm and only 300 at 2 ohms.
