Hello all. I hope this finds you well.

I've had this amp sitting for a LONGGGGGGG time, and finally got time to install it. My friend is giving me his sub--- but I'm not quite sure how to wire the amp to it. I had the intentions on having it all professionally done, however; times are tight. LOL! Which is why it has taken me over a 2 years to install the amp. :(

The manual for the amp is here: http://www.audison.it/content/eng_lrx1manuale.pdf

The manual states: "supplying 350W with 4 Ohm load, 650W at 2 Ohms and 900W at 1 Ohm in continuous mode."

I have no idea how to wire it to get the most out of the amp.

Also, if you could suggest how to set up the amp, that would be great as well (again-- no coin for the pro's). Pages 8 & 9 show the control panel with the various adjustments.

I appreciate the help. Thank you very much!!!

    Nicholas

im assuming the Alpine is a dual voice coil, so its easy, just wire + to + on the sub then to the + on the amp, then wire it the same way for the - side that would give you 2 ohms if your sub has 4 ohm coils if it has 2 ohm coils you will see around 1 ohm. Set you filter on LP and xover about 80 hrtz should be a good starting point.

OK---- but one quick question: If you look on page 22 of the manual, the amp has two speaker outputs: A & B. My friend (who hooked me up with the box) suggested to wired the sub like you said, and to wire the sub to Side A of the amp. Does that make sense?

Clearly I am a bit ignorant to this, but that sounds---- not normal to me. Is that how I should wire it?

it looks like when you wire only 1 speaker you wire it to the left side, if thats side A then that should be correct. Set it to LP or low pass then set the frequency around 80 hrtz. If you ever want to put another sub on there just wire it to the right side and the amp will sum the 2 channels automatically.
