My trunk started leaking and my box got wet and moldy. It got really wet,wet enough to make the wood bow out over 1".So now I have found the leak and repaired it.The seam sealer by the tail light panel was cracked.I got a quote on having a box made and I'm wondering what you guys think. It's a well known shop that does solid work, the owner said $200.00 for a ported box for 3 10's.Carpeted and made for my car. He's talking about tuning it between 27 and 30hz as for the cabin gain will make up for the rest. This is a daily driver and I want it to hit low and hard.Is this out of line for what I'm getting.I've tried building my own boxes before and I'm never satisfied. Thanks in advance.Any opinions?

200 is a good deal on a custom box built to fit your trunk.

Thanks Pedro for the reply.I'm also wondering if there is a way to change the port tuning on a custom made box. There is one for sale locally on craigslist for 50 bucks, but the guy doesn't know the tuning. He said one of his buddies had it made and has changed up his system and gave him the box.I'll try and post a link to it: http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/ele/1803926779.html
    Hopefully this works.

That's what I thought too,but the front is doubled up and it's braced inside. The guy told me the box is about 65 lbs.

yea they make em like that... I have been to the ground shaker store and they do double baffles and bracing on "higher" end models.
