Last night my speaker amp got hot and shut off. It had popped the fuses (2 20 amp). I put 2 new fuses in (after taking off the power wire) and as soon as I turned the amp on it blew the fuses. I thought maybe my ground was messed up so I re grounded it in the same place my subwoofer amp is (which has a 300 amp fuse) and tried again, it blew them immediately. I have 3 runs of 12 gauge wire for my ground (ghetto I know, but all I had) and just 8 gauge for the power. What could be going on? Keep in mind the amp was working just fine for about an hour or so before it did this

something inside must have took a dump. thats most likely why it keeps popping them.

that, or one of your speakers is causing it to blow them. disconnect the speakers and install 2 more fuses.

Okay I tried that and it still blew. I'm guessing it's toast, time for a new one. Thanks for the help though
