Liftedranger"s 2010 build

It will be done by this weekend. I got a show coming up this sunday. I will post the results and some pics also.

 

Well heres the first coat of primer. Im gona do one more coat of primer tonite and then start with the black tomorrow.

 

Here is the second coat of primer. The trim panels with get took off tomorrow and painted.

 

Yep, i was going to spray it, but i didnt wana tape up my whole truck.

 

I got the first coat of black paint on tonite after work.

 

Prolly 4 or 5 coats.

I got the trim panels installed right before i went to work.

 

Well the speakers are back in. All i got to do now is hook up my 4channel amp and itll be done.

 

Well, the 16 8s are doing good. But im having a problem with surrounds. Me and jacob, owner of sundown, came to a conclusion that i dont have enough port area and the air cant escape and its building up backpressure, causing the subs to have over-excursion. So on that note, time to rebuild. Im downgrading to 12 8s. The box will be 6 cubes with 125 square inches of port tuned to 35 hz. Heres a pic of the box.

 

I think walls are the loudest with subs on passenger side and port on drivers side.
