Ok this is what it is--i have a 1995 honda wagon and right now i have 4 kicker l7 10 inch and a 1500bd amp rockford. I was considering exchanging those 4 l7s for 4 kicker cvr 15s and putting em in that wagon.anyone know if i would get alot more bass and if its a good idea??i always thought bigger is better lol and i can wire the 15s to 1 ohm and get full power and bass.nothing is installed yet.so i dont know which would be better. Im a noob so give me a break lol AND IMMA PORT THE BOX EITHER WAY SO IF U WANTED TO KNOW-IMMA GUT THE WHOLE CAR OUT PROBABLY ________ FIFTH-GENERATION CHEVROLET CAMARO SPECIFICATIONS
You need a lot more box volume for 15s as opposed to 10s. A 15 needs approximately 3 times the volume as a 10 (3.5 ft^3 vs. 1.25 ft^3) so do you even have room to fit a 15+ ft^3 box? Seems like a stupid idea to me seeing as you have a small car to begin with and you won't have the room unless you completely gut the car and leave just the driver's seat (and you still may be pushing it). Four 10s in a correctly built and ported box should be very hard, the box is the important thing really.
Ok so i should jus stay with the l7s? And call it a day? I jus want it to be super loud ________ Blowjob spanish
what kind of box do you have them in? they really should be plenty loud, especially since they have about as much cone area as a normal 12" round sub.
ive seen 15's in a WAGON. im sure it will take up 95% of your hatch tho. if space is tight go with the 10's. now if you can give up 12~15 cubes do it.
its a wagon. he has upwards of 25 cubes to spare. he doesnt need to gut it to make it fit. or run the box all the way to the back of the front seats. are you gutting it to sound deaden it and run you wires?
yeah, he still has room for back seats for sure. like i said tho, if you want room for people and stuff then do the 4 10's. thats why i needed to trade my 21 for some 12's. i need the room
