does it make a difference on speaker wiring, i see that one wire is striped and the other isn't. which is which?
yes it matters, but it depends on how its wired from your amp. Just make sure positive goes to the positive on the speaker and the negative to the negative on the speaker. Just make sure you wire them the same way, if you wire them oppisite one will be pushing while the other one is pulling. does that make any sense to you?
