Here is my amp http://www.shopping.com/xPO-Digital...igital-Audio-DAD9004-Mono-Subwoofer-Amplifier 500w @4 Ohm 750w @2 Ohm I cant decide between 2 subs http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_10314_Memphis+15-PR12D4.html#tabs memphis 12" 250 watt rms 500 wattpeak impedance:dual 4ohm (getting 2) and http://cgi.ebay.com/PAIR-MTX-JACKHA...Car_Subwoofers_Enclosures?hash=item5190a1381e 400 watt rms 800 watt peak impedance: single 4 Ohm basicly im wondering which will be louder the higher watt jackhammers being underpowered or the memphises at full power. I know memphis is a much higher quality company and i would assume have better quality but going by youtube videos(not good i know) it seems the former hits harder then the latter. opinions?
I know memphis is a much higher quality company and i would assume have better quality
IMO that statement is completely untrue and is actually totally wrong.
but going by youtube videos(not good i know) it seems the former hits harder then the latter. opinions?
That sounds about right. Lol
so it would be safe to say both of you are for the 800w jackhammers? its just someone on another forum said mtx wouldnt handle what they said and then recommended those memphises. so just tryin to hear both sides
The MTXs will actually handle more than they say. Truth is, alot of people have bad opinions of MTX because they used to make some bad stuff. But today the 9500 tops the JL W7 beast. So you tell me if MTX is a better company that cheap Memphis crap. But anyway.. this isn't wich company is better, it's which will sound better. I've been giving one of my 5500 10s 100 wrms and it hits lows better than my friend with a Memphis 15. And the Jackhammer series is supposed to be better than the 5500 series. MTX over Memphis all tha way.
