    Hey all,

Looking for advice on what Amps's you all would recommend for 2 infinity 1262's. Vehicle is a 4door Chevy Blazer.. HU DEH-P7200HD, doors are reference 6030's and 5030's, amp for the doors is a kappa 4. Box is ported.

I usually don't care too much about the subs/amp but the car was recently broken into and here I am. Looking for decent but yet not anything budget killing.

Any thoughts, suggestions would be appreciated.

I guess I should add, one of the reasons I'm asking is because the 1262's are DVC so I know i'm stuck at 1 or 4 ohm's. I'm not much of an audiophile so I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

I would be good to go wiring one each on each channel at 2ohms? I thought you wanted to keep them in parallel on a single bridge or channel to keep the timing consistent.

you can do it the way jonny said or you can get a mono amp and do it the way you are saying, just make sure it is 1 or 2 ohm stable.

any pro's con's to one way or the other.. Is it ok to wire a sub up to each channel and have them not bridged into a single unit (ie. possible un-timed subs next to each other on a per channel basis).

    edit

also.. If going for a mono amp then i'd be no good with 2ohm stable right - it would /need/ to be 1ohm as afaik 2 x dvc would be 1 or 4 ohms only.

if they are wired in phase then you will be all good. and yes, if u go mono, it needs to be 1 or 4 ohm stable

o dam. just bridge the amp i showed you above. at 4 ohms of course. it will still give you 600RMS. those are very good amps i hear too.

the amp jonny showed you will be the same either way, 2 ohm on each channel=300 watts or bridged at 4 ohms=600, either way the subs will be seeing about 300 watts each. If they are anything like my Infinity 1252 subs 300 watts each should be fine, of course you can always get a bigger amp in the future.
