ok, i'm asking this on the behalf of a co-worker. she wants to know what would be the best set up amp and sub wise for two 15''s. she has a 2010 honda civic coupe. any suggestions
Hey there, Well 2 15's certainly won't leave a lot of space for much else in a Civic haha. But to answer your question...If she wants a tremendous amount of bass, a number of companies make excellent 15" subs. If you want a system that's still plenty loud, responds better to faster beats, and will free up a lot more trunk space, I'd recommend 2 good quality 12" subs in a ported box. The box will also weigh less... As far as the amp goes, you'll have to pick some subs first I'd say, and determine the RMS rating, but also consider the load on the vehicle's electrical system. Going back to the 2 12's theory...they may draw less from the cars electrical system than the 15's, depending on the RMS and the amp required to drive them.
