    Hi, I'm new. o.o

I'm, honestly, pretty lost. I'm buying a 4 channel amp from a friend, which I was planning on using for my full range speakers. I've also currently got a 2 channel amp running to a single sub woofer hooked up. I was wondering about how I'd hook up the 4 channel and the 2 channel at the same time. Is it possible? Also I've only got one set of preamp outputs; am I going to have to buy an entirely new head unit? Could I just use a couple of Y splitters?

Super lost.. Sorry for asking so much in my first post haha.

Edit: I meant to say full range in the title. Oops.

well, i would just get another HU because you'd want a seperate set of pre-outs for your sub/full range

Is there any particular reason for that? I understand about fading and L/R balance, but I don't use either of those things much, and I wouldn't mind if they were just missing.
