Alright,I'm new here and in need of advice.I am looking for a mono amp that puts out 1200-1500 at 2ohms.My hifonics bxi1208d does'nt put out enough to power 3 dual 4 10's.I have a tight budget(250 max)and will have to sell my other amp first.So,250 is the total amount I can go.The place I got my amp will give me in store credit,but they need to know what I want.
is that 1200-1500@2ohms an email address? i thought it was a mistake and tried to edit it, but i can not.

So I got the box all installed today and I accidently touched a power wire to a speaker out and fried my sub amp.I forgot to pull the fuse.My sub amp went up in smoke because the amp was still grounded.I'm so ****ed at myself.Any sugg. on a amp?I've got no problem going used.I'll post pics of the box when I find the cord for my camera.

Cool thanks.I can get a mtx thunder 1000xd for 225.00 or a alpine m1000 for 249.00 from a local shop.Out of those three(including the power acoustic),which one would be better?I think I can live with a little less power to get better quality.Both the mtx and alpine do 1000wrms at 2 ohms.

Thanks for your advice.I ended up getting the alpine m1000 used for $150.00 with the remainder of a 5 year warranty.It has 4 years left on warranty.I just couldn't pass it up.
