Hi guys im new and my name is Priamo i come from Dominican Republic , well heres my thing i drive a 2003 Toyota Echo Hatchback, i was thinking on adding some serious sound, and i would like some advice, i would like to add some 6" in each door for Voice and 1 Pioneer 12" Shallow Sub in the trunk, any recommendation is accepted. Note: Im new to music, ill take any advice.
The pioneer shallow sub is an excellent woofer. If you follow Pioneers box size recommendation, port size and tuning recommendations, you will have an excellent sounding woofer. These woofers do like power, so use a 300-400 watt RMS amplifier.
The Pioneer is a good choice, but I think you could make a better choice for a 6-1/2 inch speaker. The Polk Audio speakers and the Infinity Reference for example would be a better choice.
Four speakers should be enough. However if you want more sound the another amplifier would be a good idea. I would suggest a 75-watt RMS x 4 amplifier for the four 6-1/2-inch speakers.
ive been checking the polk speakers and they do give a nice rms, the other thing is the positioning of the the speakers, what would be a good place to put them?
