Liftedranger"s 2010 build

Well i done some measuring for the box today before i put all the stuff back in. Come to find out, im not gona be able to build the box outside the truck and then slide it in, im gona have to build it in the truck. Fun Now i can say ill have a real wall. Its actually gona work out better because i will be able to get about .9 cubes for each 8.

 

Well me and team nemesis dj came up with the final design. The box is gona be 9.6 cubes tuned to 32.5 hz with 6 4" aero ports. Im doing aeros bc a slot port would take up too much displacement. Im gona start on the box tomorrow after school. Lots of pics to come.

8 sheets of 3/4" mdf ftw.


Now on to the floor. Im gona fiberglass the bottom to shape it to the bottom of the truck.

 

The first layer of resin and mat

 

WEll i got the second layer put on.

 

I added a back piece to the floor, then put the plastic over it and put a layer of glass over it. I think its coming along great so far. Let me know what yall think.

 

Pedro, prolly 7 layers or so before its done. HAHA.

 

THis is the second layer on the back hump.

 

This is the third layer of resin and mat. Hopefully after this layer dries, ill be able to take the mold out of my truck and glass it with it on the table so i can still be able to drive my truck. Keep the comments coming guys.

 

Well here is the mold of the floor out of the truck. I still gota add a few more layer but its coming along good. Im gona start on the top part of the box sunday.
