Liftedranger"s 2010 build

Well the time has come for a new system.

Well since its 2010, i figured i needed a rebuild for new season.
The equipment:
Pioneer DEH-510ub head unit
Lots of Sundown SA-8s
2 sundown 3500s
2 DC power 300 amp alts
5-6 power master d3100s
1 powermaster d3400 upfront
lots of SS deadener
Sundown 100.4
B&C 8's for mids

Now to the tear down of the truck.




I had to go eat supper so ill get the rest of the truck stripped out tonite and start laying the deadener tomorrow. Ill take plenty of pics.

 

Well the inside is totally stripped. On to pics.







As you can see, i already have some deadener on my roof. That is the SS spl tiles. Im putting more SS over it.

 

Yea im sure ill be adding more equipment to the list as he build goes on

 

Yea ill definitely give you a demo when its done.

 

im gona be running 16 8's.

 

For the tiles, i did not heat any up but when i did this it was like 80 degrees outside so the inside was pretty warm. For the new deadener today, im gona have to heat up the inside some bc my truck is so cold even tho it is in a shop.

 

I started rolling on the deadener today. I got the roof done and most of the back wall. Its time for a lunch break then ill get back to it until i have to go to work at 3. Heres some pics.

I got the floor done. I still have a few spots here and there to get tho. I got the doors to do next. Ill start on them after work tonite. I have a lot of deadener left so i know there will be more laid on the roof and on the floor.

 

Well i work at foodlion part time and build boxes on the side. Most of this $$$ is coming from my last system tho.

Well i got 1 door done tonite after work. HAHA ill b working on it all day tomorrow and i will post the progress.

 

Well i got the drivers door done this morning.


I only have my two rear doors to do now and i still have this much deadener left.


Hopefully the whole truck will be deadened by this afternoon so i can get final measurements for my box

 

Well the truck is completely deadened now. The roof is a lot more solid now and i did end up using all the deadener.
