New to the forum, just joined a few minutes ago hopeful to find a good answer. I have 2 RE Audio RE10D4 subwoofers, they are Dual 4 ohm voice coils I also have a US Amps xt 800.2 I have no clue how to wire them up correctly, I keep finding different answers online. Im looking to set them up the way that would give me the loudest/best sounding output. These 2 choices seem to be the best I have been able to find, now I just need help to choose between the 2. Should I do it this way? Or should I do it this way? Thanks a lot for the help
in all honesty. either way will show the subs the same power. just know that 2 ohm stereo output is equal to the 4 ohm mono output. i.e 100 x2 @ 2 ohm stereo is the same as 200 x 1 @ 4 ohm mono.
I just got an email back from the RE tech guy, saying that the 4 ohm mono setup would be smarter because it guarantees 100% equal power to both subs. So doing it the 4 ohm way is the way to go?
that makes sense i guess since most amps power output can vary from the left and right channels a little bit, but it shouldnt be noticeable if its a good amp. try it either way. see what you like.
I welcome you to the event, and my name is Joseph. I have the same thing, and in the cabins, there are outlets so that you can plug in your c-pap machine. If you have any more questions about that, just let me know and I will try to answer it.
