based on ure max dimensions you can only get about 4ft^3 out of it. i think 3 type-r's would like more like 6ft^3 and tuned to about 32ish. that would be crazy off of the RMS wattage.

well you cant fit 6 ft^3. unless you can go a bit bigger than what you told us on another thread.

if i were you i would only use 2 of the type r's. that will give them a perfect 1Ohm load to the amp. this will also give them the right space they need in your car ported. do you already have them? if you dont, just get 2 do this....

i mean you pry could fit 3 in there.... sealed though, and chances are, 2 ported will be as loud if not louder than 3 sealed. not utilizing the back wave is overrated and dumb in my opinion. I hate the sound of sealed boxes. Ever since i heard a ported box there has been no turnin back!

OK for three woofers lets try this.

The box should be 40-inches wide by 14-inches tall and 22-inches deep. There is no room for the port on the front of the box so we need to put it on the side. The port will be 12-1/2-inches tall and 3-1/2-inches wide. The length of the port needs to be 18-inches long.

    Drawing not to scale
