i recently purchased two 10" mtx 4500 subwoofers that feature a pre-built enclosure. i have a two channel amplifier and i plan on using it only on the subwoofers. the enclosure only has two inputs yet the amp has 4 inputs with the two middle ones labeled "bridge" what does this mean? and what is the best way to wire my subs? thanks

the 2 ch amp can not have 4 inputs.

what your looking at is a positive and a negative output for each channel.

when you bridge an amp you use a pos from one channel and a negative from the other.

looking at that box it looks as though you need an amp that is 2 ohm mono stable. with out knowing what brand amp you own. im going to guess it is not, as most arent 2 ohm "mono" stable.

can you post a model number for your amp.

if your not sure as how to do your own install i would highly suggest doing some research, and reading all you can on the subject or paying a pro to do the install for you.

when i first started out, i knew nothing and bought an amp that didnt match with the subs i owned.

i'll give you some links to site that will teach you a lil more on the subject.

its a lot of reading but can save you a lot of heartache in the long run.
