Guys, I'm way into SQ, check out my username. The loudness doesn't matter to me unless it is completely clean. I want a bass, like you took a tight bass drum and hit it. I want the bass where you feel it in your chest, but not a woofing bass at all. Current im running this sub and box http://signature.crutchfield.com/s_13693135/JL-Audio-HO110RG-W3v3.html?tp=112
and a JL slashv2/250/1 amp. It just doesn't seem like it hits hard enough for me. It's decently clean, but this might be a tuning issue. I was wondering if I bought the JL slashv2/500/1 how much of a difference that would make.
    Thanks!

Power is always helpful. I would definately go with the 500 RMS amp. You should notice the difference

That is probably what I am going to do, and I appreciate your response. Will a higher clean power(staying with JL so power should be just as clean, just at a higher level, right?) allow the sub to hit harder, while being cleaner? Mainly I want to preserve sound quality, while still being able to make you feel it in your chest.
    Thanks
