What do I set these to? (HPF, Subsonic, Phase, Bass Boost)

    I think those are all the controls on my amp.... I was wondering what most people would set these at... on a Hertz EP 1 Monoblock.

    You want it on LPF which means it should be low pass crossover. Umm set that to about 80Hz. Dont worry about the HPF. Subsonic should be off, Phase should be 0. Bass boost off! Also, set your gain intelligently, you dont wanna be frying your new amp.

    if you have a ported box, id use the subsonic filter.

    set it to your tuning hz i believe, so it doesnt play anything under that

    so the sub wont bottom out from playing too low a bass note.

    you want to set it to just under. a ported box tuned to say 30 can play slightly lower say maybe 25 or so. so set it 5 HZ or so lower than tuning or by ear if that dont work. since most dials are off by a few, the ear method can work too.
