Hey everyone first time on this site and i just hooked up some 15's an amp and a battery cell. There were RCA cables in the car from the previous owner and the head unit also came with the the car when i bought it. After hooking everything up and using the RCA cables that were in the car i relized that the cables might not be hooked up right because the amp has power but the subs are not working for some reason. I had the system hooked up in my house so i know everything works and all that good stuff. so here is the question after the very long explanation is there somthing wrong with the rca cables in the car or is there somthing else. And last but not least how do i take the head unit out of my car? lol i have a CDA-9886 CD-R/-RW/MP3/AAC/WMA Receiver. please helpp and thanks.

without knowing your car model, we cant help you remove your head unit. post a pic of it.

buy some rca's. maybe the ones in the car have been cut.

maybe the rca's are still good and they are just not hooked up to the back of the head unit???
