ok guys just wondering why we dont like wall mart car audio as much such as sony and pioneer, it it because its cheap or because its from wallmart. if walmart started sellin memphis, jl, kicker, or other name brand stuff would it be "junk". just wondering. i dont run no wallmart stuff except my door speakers but i was just kinda curious what your thoughts were
ok but what about memphis selling the street edge brand subs made by the company but they are only rated at like 100watt rms? what do you think of subs like that? lightning audio is produced under rockford
ALWAYS the case haha. Do it once, and do it right. The first time. Unfortunately people get impatient and buy what they can afford at any given time. With electronics, you get what you pay for. The price more often then not, directly correlates to the quality of the product. Do your research before dishing out the cash! oh and wal-mart would sell kicker. not a fan =/
kicker is nice, just don't push them or abuse it, they can't take abuse. If you will be happy with a cheap system and don't need to crank it all the time then cheaper is ok. But if your one of those people who like to push the limits then don't do it lol. Take it from someone who has fried literally thousands of dollars worth of equipment trying to make it do something it just can't lol.
i dont know bro. kicker amps can dish out the juice. ive known a lot of guys that have run kicker amps with no probs.
sup jonny! how's your car? Ya i was thinking subs when i wrote that, i think i have only tried one small kicker amp from ebay, didn't like it. The big ones are nice though but.....a ton of messed up ones on ebay Kicker is probably the best bang for the buck for subs, especially the L5 and L7 , just don't push them too hard. The amps are a bit pricey for a good one but probably worth it.
my car is pretty good right now. new motor all ready for the spring. 17's on the front and 18's on the rear for rims. New black paint job, and possibly new interior. Oh, i got the 4 12's in now!
i had 1000 rms going to my kicker l5 and it never skipped a beat. i think they are rated at like 600.
i actually own kicker and hate the way they sound, done a bunch of installs with kicker subs and they just arent my favorite by no means.
