audison makes a killer amp too, if you wants super clean power look into the old PPI pro mos amps, that and linear power. man those were nice.

id like to go all old school orions if i could. maybe a 2150sx and a few 275sx's yummy

Don't forget about Brax! nice to look at them but I'll never drop that much money on an amp. lol

Pedro, your PG amps do resemble a sinfoni amp. :)

old school Adcom here.... I had PPI's back in the late 80's to early 90's then switched to Adcom. Back then the Adcom's were definantly a big step up... not as nice as the Mcintosh amps but these were quite a bit less money.

Love to get my hands on their 2 chassis 80x2 amp, can't remember the model

Those Steg amps look cool, and some rated down to .25 ohms, The last amp I saw that could do that was the old school Orions. That other company some of their ratings are at 18volts, This is a car audio amp right. They just dont build them like they used to.

I am pretty partial to Lunar Amplifiers, mainly because Kenny lives about 20 minutes away. Another brand that I was told to look at was Genesis by a cousin who is stationed at Lakenheath in the UK.

I would say Tru Technology is another high end brand, but, a competitor on one of the other forums that I am a member of dropped Tru due to noise issues. Of all things, he replaced his Tru amplifiers with the Arc Audio KS line and had no more noise problems.

I also looked into Zuki, but was quickly turned off when I was told that Zuki is designed for SQ at low volume. Sorry, but I need something I can hear over the Borla Stinger exhaust in my Rustang.

I agree fstrfvo, They really don't build em like they used too.. I have Stentorian amp (a local guy builds these things in his garage) the is STABLE at 1/4 ohm doin a TRUE 3000 watts RMS.... this guy built this thing back in.... ****, i think it was 96... He is a true freakin electronic GENIUS!!! but yeah, that is the best amp i've EVER had, and doubt i'll ever own one better...
