id say the alpine or jvc cause of the eq bands. what are you looking for in a head unit? they all do ipods so i assume thats one. do you need/want 3 pre outs for amps? built in xovers for amps...? good eq's
in one weekend I started with the JVC with HD, did'nt like it, exchanged it for the Pioneer Pioneer DEH-P3100UB, sound was crappy, exchanged it for the Alpine cda105 . as soon as I turned it on with factory default setting I was sold..Clean natural sound . The rest is history as I set it up in my truck,, I really love this unit.. Ted O
