itching for 15's now

    I'm tempted. I told him that if he still has them by tomorrow i'll get em. How's your DC lvl3 working out for you? That's the sub i really want but i just can't afford 2 of the 15" lvl 3's.

    i actually have the lvl 4, but i still havent finished the box yet lmao. time isnt abundant as it was during summer :(

    hopefully sunday i can get it done

    you must be itching to get this done, i know i would be. hahaha

    My wife is really gonna kill me but i told the guy i'll get them tomorrow. I gotta spend another $75 to have them shipped to me and that's gonna take about 6 weeks from when my dad ships them in October. Talk about a long wait!!! I'm thinking if i get them tomorrow i'll see them in the end of November or first week of December. lol

    hahaha. I should have... I'm STILL waiting for my Focal K2P's to get to me. Should be within the next 2 weeks.. It takes FOREVER!!!

    Well, here they are... I won't see them for a long time but I'm just waiting for confirmation and the guys email ad so i can send him the money. got them for $275 shipped. Not bad and at least i'll have 15's now.

    Azn, I'm gonna need your expertise again for a box with these.. Can you help me out? Again? lol

    I contacted DJ owner of AQ via PM. He sent me this message of a box design. I'm just having a little trouble understanding about the port wall. It just says how wide and the height of the port along with the port wall depth. I can't picture it though, can somebody help me out and explain it a little further for me?

    I think you would do a little better by firing the subs up and port to the rear.

    Make your box with the following measurements:
    OUTSIDE MEASUREMENTS
    W=46" H=17" (17.75" for dbl baffle) D=26"

    INSIDE MEASUREMENTS
    W'44.5" H=15.5" D=24.5"

    SUBS FIRE UP, PORT TO THE REAR WITH THE PORT IN THE CENTER OF THE BOX IN A VERTICAL PLANE

    MAKE YOUR PORT 8.25'' WIDE AND 15.5'' TALL AND 20'' LONG/DEEP MEASURED FROM THE OUTSIDE FACE OF THE BOX

    BOX IS APPROX 8 CUBES NET TUNED TO APPROX 38HZ

    the port will be in the middle firing to the rear of the truck. then it will be 8.25" wide and 15.5" tall with the two walls directing the air that are 20 deep.

    i read that the AQ's tuned to 38 peak at about 31-32Hz.
