first off, don't do any cutting... Please give us the full information of your car. year? model? all stock?

did you just buy subs and an amp? what kind of CD player did you get?

You should not have to cut anything. Please remove the word cut from your vocabulary. Also, do not handle any tools that can cut without supervision.:D

Order the correct install kit for your truck, also order the correct wiring harness. Your truck will also require an antenna adapter.

The subs will go under the back seat. Find a downfire box. ProBox is a little pricey, but well worth the money. They are very well built boxes.

The amp is a little small. It would be good for highs but not for subs. Look for an amp thats atleast 300 watts or more RMS. We want RMS power rating, all other ratings are worthless. RMS. But keep in mind that you have very little room for an amp in your truck. Make sure the amp is small enough to mount it where you want it.

Your amp is no where near 300 watts. Its rated at 30 watts RMS X 2. Its bridged mono output will be less than 150 watts RMS.

    You need more amp

I still didn't get the year and make of your car. there are install kits for the stereo that you can buy so it will be a perfect fit but i need to know the make, model and year of your ride dude. Let's get the harness and stereo install kit out of the way first then we'll work on your subs and amp.

what ranger told you earlier is right on target. He's surely right, he's been an installer for a LOOOOOONG time (but now a math teacher). You can pick up at 300watt amp for pretty cheap.. did you just buy your amp or have you had it for a while now?
